Fundraiser for new piano for residents of Veterans' Administration Nursing Home

The Adult Music Student Forum (AMSF), (a DC based, nonprofit corporation that promotes the educational and performance interests of active adult non-professional, non-collegiate instrumental and vocal students, whether they are beginners, persons returning to music after an extended absence, now in our 20th year)has undertaken to raise the funds to purchase a desperately needed new piano for the Veterans' Administration Nursing Home. Professor Francis Conlon, well-known concert pianist in the DC area, has graciously donated a recital to raise funds to this end. Program included works by Scarlatti, Schumann, Villa-Lobos, Scriabin and Gershwin.
